The day started with practicing anatomical sketching. When I am teaching Conor art during his home schooling, I try to squeeze in some practice of my own art. This particular day, there I sat, working to craft perfect eyes and hands, while Conor was having a blast throwing color around and just being natural and fun. So, I dropped the sketch book and decided to follow his lead. I switched from serious to silly, and I threw this painting together with no plan whatsoever. And here it is - chickens!
I ended up hanging this painting in my living room to remind me not to take any of it too seriously! Here it is on display. I call it "My Crazy Chickens" - enjoy!
